The tamil film industry went on a hunger strike today following the attack of Tamil theatres in Karnataka. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have already been haggling over the Cauvery water issue. Almost every star participated in this strike today. Leading the protest was Karnataka born Tamil actor Super Star RajniKanth. He was very angry on the Karnataka politicians and spoke against them. He also said that the Cauvery water problem was an easy one to solve and the 2 governments were making a big fuss over the issue.
Among those present in the protest were actress Manorama, Kamal Hassan, Sarath Kumar, Vijaykanth, Prabhu and various actors, directors , musicians , actresses, etc. Everyone spoke of this issue in their own way and wanted steps to be taken to solve this dispute as soon as possible.
